MANSA MUSA (Musa I of Mali), ninth ruler of the kingdom of Mali from 1312 C.E. to 1337 C.E. is famed for turning the kingdom of Mali into a sophisticated center of learning in the Islamic world. During his reign, Mali was one of the richest kingdoms of Africa, and Mansa Musa was among the richest individuals in the world.

The kimono is a T-shaped garment with square sleeves and a rectangular body, and is worn with the left side wrapped over the right side if it has a belt. This kimono doesn't come with a belt and is worn loosely on the shoulders. The design is meant to fit loose and not snug.
