Our Goal: We want you to love every purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll make it easy to return or exchange—no stress, no hassle.


1. Easy Returns & Exchanges

  • 14-Day Window: Request a return/exchange within 14 days of delivery.
  • Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags/labels.
  • How to Start: Email us at returns@mutapa.com with your order number, or log into your account to generate a return label.

2. Free Returns for Our Mistakes

If we sent the wrong item or it’s not as described, we’ll cover return shipping and send the correct item ASAP (or refund you).

3. Customer-Covered Returns

For other returns:

  • Cost: You pay return shipping (we recommend tracked delivery for safety).
  • Store Credit: Prefer a faster resolution? Opt for instant store credit upon return receipt (no waiting for refund processing).

4. What Can’t Be Returned?

For hygiene/safety reasons, we can’t accept:

  • Worn/used headwraps or garments with scents.
  • Final sale items (clearly marked at purchase).

5. Refund Options

  • Original Payment: Refunds processed within 5 business days of return inspection.
  • Store Credit: Get 10% extra credit if you choose this option (e.g., return a 100item→100item→110 credit).

6. Exchanges & Sizing Help

  • Free size exchanges (if stock allows). Need help? Our stylists can recommend alternatives.
  • No alterations, but we’ll guide you to trusted tailors.

7. Theft Protection

  • Signature Delivery: Add a free "signature required" note at checkout for high-value orders.
  • Lost Packages? File a claim with the carrier—we’ll help with documentation.

8. Quick Processing

  • Returns take 5–10 business days to process after we receive them.
  • You’ll get email updates at every step.
